What's it like?...: If you like Obsession for Men, by Calvin Klein, you'll like Egoiste. They're very similar in the mild cinnamon/vanilla notes, but Egoiste is sweeter.
When to wear it...: Winter, and semi-dressy nights out.
How it lasted on me...: At least 3/4 of a day, very good quality oils.
The bottle...: The exact mold Egoiste Platinum comes out of, but with a textured black top and darker fragrance.
Miscellaneous details...: Egoiste was the original to bear the name, and then came Egoiste Platinum. When the current stores in the U.S. sell out, you will only be able to find Egoiste (original) at the Chanel Boutiques, and some perfumeries. Chanel wants it to be an exclusive item- basically it didn't sell well in Dept. Stores, so making it exclusive will raise sales.
In my opinion...: I like it, but it's a little too blah for what I'm currently searching for.
