What's it like?...: It's a very different blend of spices. One of the more exotic ingredients it has is cognac. You really can't tell from the fragrance that it's cognac, it just gives a very rich base to the spice.
When to wear it...: Winter and nights! This one warms up really well on the skin.
How it lasted on me...: Really well, about a full day- I just wish it wore well on my skin!
The bottle...: It's cylindrically shaped, but flat on the front and back. The top is a basic copper, and the fragrance is deep brown.
Miscellaneous details...: Estee' Lauder (the person) wanted to formulate a fragrance especially for her husband, so she had a cologne custom blended. She appropriately named it JHL, for his initials: Joseph Harold Lauder.
If you ask me...: I gave it a "three bottle", because of its high quality, but I don't like it personally. If it wears well on you, you'll be very pleased. But c'est la vie pour moi!
