- What's it
like?...
- This fragrance is very deceiving,
don't be fooled! It starts out like a plain citrus- fairly
similar to Eternity, by Calvin Klein, but just wait! Give
it about three minutes and it completely reverses into
a spice, with just a slight hint of the original citrus. It
truly is completely opposite of the initial impression.
- When to
wear it...
- This one will
stop people- so don't wear it if you're
in a hurry to go anywhere! The
Platinum has a very wide versatility- you
can dress it up and dress it down all in
the same day. It's so rich that
there is no restaurant too expensive
to go to, and yet it's casual enough
to be worn for a day in the park!
- How it
lasted on me...
- All day-
and my skin usually rips fragrance to
shreds! This is due to Chanel
taking the time to use a large amount
of the real fragrance oils.
- The
bottle...
- The bottle is
very similar to the original Egoiste-
rectangular, clear glass- except that it
has a silver top instead of black.
- Miscellaneous
details...
- Don't confuse
the Egoiste Platinum with Chanel's
original Egoiste (the one with the
annoying commercial). They are the
complete opposite of each other.
The original Egoiste is more of a
light, vanilla & cinnamon spice.
- In my
opinion...
- Like I've
mentioned before, I have over 39
fragrances- and out of all of them, I
tend to wear the Platinum the most often!
The quality and consistency are exactly
what I look for in a fragrance.
