What's it like?...: It starts out with a lot of pine, and dries down into a very rich leather, spice, and tobacco accord.
When to wear it...: Winter wonderland time! This one is begging for a snow covered cabin and roaring fireplace!
How it lasted on me...: Polo is also one of the longer lasting colognes in the industry. It wears all day on me- starting off a bit heavy, but wearing down into the day.
The bottle...: It's a rectangular, translucent forest green bottle, with a rounded gold top. And of course, has the gold polo player emblazoned on the front.
Miscellaneous details...: Polo was created in 1978 by Ralph Lauren, feeling he needed a foot in the booming fragrance market. It's one of the few that have stayed around for the long haul in this volatile industry.
If you ask me...: Polo has always been a favorite of mine! Especially during the Holidays!
